Meadowfoam seed oil is derived from the seeds of Limnanthes alba, a flowering plant valued in skincare for producing an oil with naturally high oxidative stability. The seeds are harvested and dried before oil extraction, preserving the oil’s long-chain fatty acid composition that contributes to its stability and performance.

Our meadowfoam seed oil is used in its enhanced, water-compatible form, where the botanical oil is blended with Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate, a PEG-free emulsifier. This allows it to disperse easily in lightweight, water-based textures while maintaining a smooth, elegant skin feel.

The ingredient is designed to be cold-processable and supports low-energy emulsification, emphasizing stability, formulation compatibility, and sensorial performance to help ensure consistent results across finished products. Where palm-derived components are used (such as Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate), they are sourced in alignment with RSPO standards, and the ingredient is produced in accordance with COSMOS standards.
